Our approach to family therapy is to develop a treatment plan that is based on the areas of distress that the family is expressing and customized in response to the unique needs and style of the family. We select interventions that are manageable based on the family’s lifestyle (e.g., two working parents, single parent household, long commute to work/school) and consistent with the family’s values.
Our goal is to help families develop and maintain home environments that are full of positive relationships that preserve family stability. We assist families in developing their child’s ability to respond positively to parent instruction, as well as the caregiver’s ability to enhance a child’s self-esteem, self-worth, and self-confidence.
