Malique Carr, Ph.D.

maliquecarrwebDr. Carr earned her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at Palo Alto University, and she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a double major in Media Arts & Science at Wellesley College. She completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Portland VA Medical Center with the Mental Illness Research and Education Clinical Center (MIRECC), a certificate program in Human Investigations through Oregon Health & Science University’s School of Medicine, and an American Psychological Association-accredited internship at Kaiser Permanente, Los Angeles Medical Center. Dr. Carr has additionally worked in community mental health settings and school settings providing individual, couple, group, and child/family therapy. Her specialties are in working with child and adult survivors of trauma, emotionally focused couple therapy, and issues related to diversity. While in graduate school, Dr. Carr was awarded the Distinguished Student Service Award by the American Psychological Association’s Society of Clinical Psychology.
